Tips For Closing the Deal

Here are some helpful guidelines to remind yourself when building connections with potential clients:



  1. Target- Create a list of individuals whose organizations will get you most traction
  2. Try to predict their needs and prepare what you will propose to them
  3. Find out where to approach your target clients- mutual friends, LinkedIn...
  4. Aim for face time and phone calls- avoid emails- they are easier to ignore!
  5. Listen to your potential client, and answer them wisely
  6. Don't be afraid- if your pitch is answered negatively ask why, be clear with following up on the deal, etc...
  7. Follow up and keep in touch- build your relationships with your clients, it will be easier and more pleasant to work with them in the future if you build a relationship
